Looking good, I like the larger handle, combined with the shorter stout blade. Easier to control while skinning or breasting a bird, for me anyways. Nice job, Brian.

I like it ! Nice beefy handle for a good grip and a blade that will do the job.
Well done kirk. :)

I like it! I like the hand filling size of the handle. Looks like it has just enough toom to hook your finger to give it some control. I also like the blade length. I tend to think that most of us use a blade thats too long in most cases. I think a smaller blade is more efficient...or maybe it's the fact that I try to be more efficient with a smaller blade, I don't know.
I also like some sort of bolster between the blade and the handle....not necessarily a finger guard really,(I think large guards just get in the way) but something that lets me know at all times where my hand is on the knife when it's in a pool of blood. That finger groove would probably do it though.
Very nice!

looks good, but needs a bolster. keep it up.
That is sweet. What kind of finish will you put on the handle? That wood will look awesome when the grain stands out.:)

Not yet, I have the leather tho.
Next pour I know I'll do a few things different.
I think a small triangular file would have been a plus to the design too.
It's fun tho and I get to use it later on.
btw the blade is carbon steel with a high polish.
