Guns 'n boats -- how fun -- now that is a tough combination to beat! ;) Maybe that's what makes duck hunting so much fun. We've been preparing for an invasion from across the pond for years!!!
Imagine the flotilla of fishing boats with guns that could be patrolling the Great Lakes if anyone tried to come at us across the lakes. :yikes:
I had to do a double take when I saw the brochure come in the mail from SOS: USCG Enlists Great Lakes Boaters for the War on Terror

Seems like a decent idea to me. I would report suspicious activity as a big fish biting out of season or something dumb like that.

Maybe I should paint my boat "battleship grey" and mount a big black powder cannon on the front.

The battleship grey may be okay, but the cannon "punt gun" may be in question. :yikes:

If I could get 40 virgins on my boat, would that be considered "baiting"?

I guess on your boat the 1st mate would have a double meaning?
