Could anybody tell me the best place to pick up a spare tire for a Blue Fin Trailer? It is a escort trailer if that matters, but thought somebody here maybe could help out.......Thanx......Mack

If your looking for just a spare tire/rim go to either Wal Mart or Meijers. Just get the same TIRE/RIM size. They have rims, tires or package rim/tires all made up ready to go.

They do NOT have the exact looking rims as your escort trailer but for a spare they work just fine. Just make sure you get the appropriate 4 or 5 bolt rim. All 4 or 5 bolt rims are the same. If your trailer has 5 lug nuts then buy the 5 hole rim/tire combo in the correct tire size..

I used to have a Blue Fin boat and escort trailer years ago. The galvanized rims on it rusted to death so I went to Meijers and bought a set of painted rims and tires alreay mounted. Case closed. Not original but lasted longer than the junk they put on that trailer.....

Hopefully this answers your questions...........

I have an 89' Blue Fin Spectrum 1706 w/an escort trailer-tire size B78 x 13. I bought my spare tire/rim from Bass Pro. I've looked at Meijers before but could only find boat tires up to 12". Like Wally-eye said, it's difficult to find a galvanized rim to match the existing one, they're mostly white spoke. I believe that it was the Tow Master line that Bass Pro carries.
