After going to Little Bay de Noc for 8 years now every February, and fishing with my good friend Captain Ken Lee from Sall-Mar's resort, I finally got the big one I have been looking for through the ice.

32" and 11.25lbs

In case you can't tell, I was a little excited!!

just a little bigger than Ericka's, or did you jump up and down on it so it would be bigger than Ericka's

That last fish there was 31", and it was caught by my wife (Kerry) and I on Erie. Ericka is my girlfriend...SSShhhhhhhh Don't tell the wife!!

Steve,

I know where you got Ericka from. She was a family friend who I took out on a trip last summer. She caught a 34" Black Buffalo that was the biggest caught in the state for last year, and the 2nd biggest ever! I had her picture on here also.

I would bet that's where you got that name from.

Thats a beautiful fish to mount!! I have been going up there for 2 yrs, now in search of a mount....still searching.......You picked a great guide to fish with up there!! He is hard to get booked with!! Very popular!
