Starting to think of what type of paint to use for my 23ft. sea ray.....This will be my first full season with it...it is a 86' and has been painted before....most is warn off ...I will sand it and apply new....was wondering any recommendations???? I was looking at the V-17m Extra.??? any other ones you will recommend?? Boat is kept in a well for the season ! never hauled out for traveling (no-trailer)!

VC 17 is a excellent choice. I used it for years. It never builds up and goes on like water with no sanding when application of new coats are needed. It has a hard slick finish versus soft of the ablative or muti season paints.

I've used a few, but like Kush Paint, made in Roseville Mi. Half the price of the big names. Goes on well, and I would two seasons. I found it at Lumberjacks in Algonac.

Overwhelming choice, a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Great stuff.
