From what I take, you can remove a lot of dirt/coal very fast. And keep the operation going because the thing just keeps moving forward with that conveyor following.

They got 2 of them at the old bethelam steel mill in burns harbor indiana, Its now ISG steel mill. they use it to move(reclaim) large quanities of taconite pellets to the furnaces. We refer to it as a reclaimer.
As we unload taconite from the ship it is dumped into the field and the reclaimer moves it from there to the plant.
