When I go hunting with trout, he is always pointing out different plants and saying "that is such and such" and "this is so & so". I was wondering if anyone out there can reccomend a good pocket field guide for identifying plants (if MI specific, that would be even better!). I have the little golden book pocket guide; however, they have drawings instead of photos, and is very basic. I like the audubon field guides, but they are a little too bulky.....anyone have anything that kind of falls between the two? Something I can put in a coat pocket and not feel like I am hauling books back and forth to school? I can't take trout hunting with me ALL the time.;) :D ! thanks in advance.
