I went to a mid-michigan lake about 1:30 and fished to dark. I kept total of 19 between blue gills and sunfish and one perch. All the fish were over 8" and the largest gill was 10" and the largest sunfish 10" I will take a picture when the son gets home from school and have him post for me. :)

Tasty looking fish Tommy! hey question. Have you been finding the bigger ones suspended ? I haven't been doing very well, but it seems the ones I've found in deeper water (30ft) have been up about 10ft. When I go to bottom just dinks. Mayby it's just the hungry one's suspended. This has been on 2 different lakes.

Sock-em, I caught those fish in 11ft water about 2ft off bottom. But you are right, most of the good bites in alot of lakes the fish are really suspended. many of the lakes I fish are like 25ft and the fish are 18-19ft down. Usually the biggest fish in the lake are suspended over the deep water mid-winter and later, there fun to catch but can be hard to stay on and you might have to do alot of hole hoping. However if theres still green weeds somewhere in the lake there will always be another pattern happening there also.
