Anybody watch it? (ok, that was a dumb question;)) What was the name of the club that has the hunting land available for members? I walked in at the end of the segment and missed it.

Yep, I am the Membership Services Manager and the guy that did the dove and rabbit shooting. Any info you need, just let me know, or stop by our booth at the MUCC show this weekend.

If anyone here ends up joining, let me know, and I will see that a donation gets made to the site.

sounds like a good idea for some. how many acres in mi do they have right now? i looked at the map the site has and it showed 5 or so counties in s/e mi. is it current? thanks for filling in some blanks. pb

i went back to the map, jackson, oakland, genesee, lapeer, st clair, otsega co's.

An excellent idea!

It was mentioned on the show that the club was making efforts to obtain some property on the "west coast" of Michigan. Is this going well and can those of us from SW Michigan considering joining expect some land (whitetail friendly) will be available around our area (prefer Muskegon/Ottawa counties) before next October?

i went back to the map, jackson, oakland, genesee, lapeer, st clair, otsega co's.

The map shows the counties where there is property that is currently available to our members, total of 1350 acres. We are negotiating leases for new properties, but will not place them on the map until they are actually available for use.

WD, thanks for the comment. Cooper turned out pretty good.

As for the question on the west side, we currently have one member in the Grand Rapids area, and we will have property in that area this year. Being this early in the year, the more members we get on the west side, the more property we will pick up there.
