Outdoor 3D Shoot Coming Up

Hello everyone,:grouphug:
If anyone is intrested in a outdoor 3D shoot, the Dundee Sportsmans Club is holding one on 2/27/05. Registration is 8:30am until 2:30pm. Cost is $7.00 for 17 years of age and up, $3.00 for juniors and Cubs shoot free. We will have the kitchen and bar open. Come on out and have some fun.

Well heck I can't wait for west walker. I don't even have to drive. Just walk, it's only a quarter mile away. By any chance do you shoot the Thursday West Walker League?

and as for what you need is as you stated some arrows and a bow. What you do is walk trough our woods and we have 30 3D targets set up and you shoot them from differant yardage and score them the bullseye is a 10 the outer ring is a 8 and the rest of the body is a 5. Then you tally up your score and the high scores win

You mean the big ten ring? The one that is about 6 inches in diameter? Or is the center 11 ring the ten, the actual 10 ring the 8, and anything outside of that 5? It's just that there is usually 3 scoring rings...center 11, then 10, then an 8 ring that is the size of the lung area. I'm just wondering.

there is 3 rings but we only use what would be the second ring that one equals 10 then the big vitals equals 8 then the rest of the body equals 5

I Hear Ya Gvdoc!! I Live Around The Corner Myself. Right Behind Arbys. On Wilson & Lake Mi. Dr. They Are Having Kids Shoots On Saturday In The Morn. There Are Indoor Targets. And 30 3/d Targets Outside In The Woods. I Just Joined This Week. League Is On Weds. Nights. $50.00 For Year. I See They Have A Nice Gun Range And Skeet Leagues Too.

well heck GVDOC!!! The guy at kent arms told me weds. LOL!! maybe he dont me to join. LOL!!! I probably got it mixed up w/ something else. I'm hoping to make it Saturday. Got a ice fishing contest to take care of first in reed city.

You must be talkin' bout Vinnie. He's the organizer of the league. It's a blast, the lanes are really clean with very good lighting. But it is thursday nights. Vinnie and his wife are either on their way to or in Vegas for the world archery festival there.

I see!! is there open shooting on weds. and fridays? he did say something about weds. yeah its vinnie. couldnt remember name. he said he was heading to vegas. hes pretty serious about competitions. more than I am. I would rather hunt. to much traveling for me. I used to compete when I was younger. but interfeared w/ hunting. have to shoot the venison man!!! plus I cant see spending that kinda $$$ like he does for a target bow. But the guy is a hell of a shot though. and a real nice guy. when does leagues end. I may not shoot this year if they have been going on for long. will probably just shoot my bows for fun. got to get hem tuned so I can sell them next month.

Little chilly out there but we had a good time.

Went with my brother and a buddy. Nice course, nicer clubhouse and the chili and beer at the end will ensure my attendance in the colder season again :D

That was my first time there. Real nice club you guys got there.
