House bill proposes lifting archery permit cap
Legislation in the form of proposed House Bill 1161 was introduced Tuesday by Rep. Lisa Dugan, D-Kankakee, to remove the cap on non-resident deer permits. According to Joe Bauer, a spokesman for the Department of Natural Resources (DNR), the bill is "still in review."
