Cabelas Hydro Troll????

Hello,
Anybody ever use one of these? I've been thinking of buying one for my Smokercraft. Right now the slow as I can go is around 2.4 mph using my GPS.
I would like to get down to about 1.1 - 1.7 for trolling for walleyes. I have a 50 HP Mercury on a 16" boat. Any help would be appreciated.

I had one on a 115 mariner, work good on open water, but had trouble following weed line, slow responce, an wind blew the boat around, maybe drift socks on the sides might work better. my .02

I have one on a 90 hp and I can only slow down to what you do now. Does not really have that much effect for me. Disappointed.
