Lund boat cover

I have a Lund Explorer 1700 with the pro cockpit cover. Bought the boat new in June of 04. Iv'e had a problem with the cover on several long road trips, the bungees' that connect the cover to the splashwell have come loose and been lost. There's a two piece plastic deal that holds the bungee and snaps together on the cover. My dealer has replaced the pieces everytime no problem, and contacted Lund about it. The plastic pieces where supposedley redesigned, but still had same problem. Anybody have similar problems, possible sollutions? Dealer said possibly use gorilla glue on two piece connector.
