I've got $110 to spend and I'm not sure how. I'm looking for one of those fishfinder things.
Heres one I was looking at:
http://www.basspro.com/servlet/catalog.TextId?hvarTextId=45174&hvarDept=200&hvarEvent=&hvarClassCode=1&hvarSubCode=1&hvarTarget=browse
The Cude 128 Portable

http://www.basspro.com/servlet/catalog.TextId?hvarTextId=45175&hvarDept=200&hvarEvent=&hvarClassCode=1&hvarSubCode=1&hvarTarget=browse
or Cude 168

http://www.basspro.com/servlet/catalog.TextId?hvarTextId=52687&hvarDept=200&hvarEvent=&hvarClassCode=1&hvarSubCode=1&hvarTarget=browse
or the Humminbird PiranhaMAX10

Does anyone have any opinions on these? Would I be able to easily use them in a regular rowboat? I need to be able to move them from place to place too.

Do I need to buy anything else for these?

I am no sonar expert but I do have a entry level Eagle in one of my small boats and I am surprised at how well it works,it's an older model than what you are looking at so I would think the newer ones are probably even better. Remember you still get what you pay for but for the money they are much better than nothing at all.Just make sure you can turn the cartoons off and adjust the sensitivity.
The portable battery pack/stands are also very handy.

the hummingbird is probably going to give the best resolution as it has 240 pixcls which is a very important ingredient to any fishfinder to see what is down there. my .02
I picked up a Garmin 240 last year for 150.00 and it works pretty sweet for a low priced finder.

Spend the few x-tra bucks for the Garmin. You have over $50 in shipping costs back and forth to Lowerance to get the Eagle workin right.

If you wanted to save a few more bucks, my son won a Navman fish finder in a fishing tournament last year and has no use for it. It is the 4100 model with transom mount transducer. Retails for $120. Yours for $70, brand new in the box. Here's a link to the product: http://www.boatersworld.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?productId=8441083&storeId=10051&langId=-1&catalogId=10051

You can get one for maybe 10 bucks or make one yourself all you need is 4 pieces of 12" X 24" and one piece of clear plastic glass, glue it together and use

I think I'm going to work toward getting the Garmin 240.
