Went out after work out at metro and met up with a bunch of you. Ended up fishing with skid and had a great time. What I’m seeing over the weeks is that it comes down to hit or miss. One day there hitting in eight foot of water and the next three-foot. Friday I easily limited out but like most of you they were mostly dinks, but then again it dose kill time. One thing that I also found was start with a smaller minnow and get them hitting…as soon as they start giving me double hits and I can’t keep up I switch over to a huge minnows. The dinks just strike like mad at that poor minnow until a nice size one comes in and takes all the fun from the little ones. As soon as the action slows down, I go right back to the smaller minnows and start over. I’m also finding that I’m averaging about 6 keepers to every 50 I catch.
