Last three days at Lions Den. Baggers are 7in. sorters are less. Gills and sunfish. Few perch mixed in the bag. Been taken home at least 15 baggers and rest sorters, Minimum of six hours ice time. Two red spikes and one white.
Small #14 tear drop today orange and yellow. 6 FOW. Still lookimg for a honey hole with all the real big slabbers.

I'm not an expert by anymeans. But if you are looking for bigger white lake bluegills you might want to try out a little deeper. 12 foot of water is a pretty good depth for us a lot of times in the spring.

Thanks Sixshooter, I will move on out and give it a try. That lake can support some nice fish.

Wall-eye, this doesn't sound good. I take it we might not be making a return trip next week?
