Z-Bridge Ice??

Have a half of day to fish tomorrow and thought about hitting the river near the Z-Bridge. I know the ice went bad last week.
Was wondering if it would be fishable (safe) tomorrow am??

I don't have a machine to get onto the bay or I would try that.

Any help from you river rat's would be appreciated.

Called riverview and they said there was open water

I fished off first street in sagnasty fri night and had 4" of ice in the chanel. ( 24fow ) The ice was 8" in 13fow. Caught 4 little ones. From grey iron up to the bait shop at the motel was unfishable.

I drove along M-13 today and there was open water by lollipop park and not a soul fishing all the way to 6th st........Tom

Thanks for saving me the trip. That's what I love about this site. People helping people. I've been a member here for a while. Just putting my 2 cents in here and there. Or when I need info like this. :D

This place is a valuable tool for the outdoorsman.........and for Dad's with young kids and limited time to fish. :p
