Canine lures/baits

What do you experienced trappers use for your coyote/fox sets as far as bait & lures go? I have very little experience trapping, but I am thinking about trying it this fall. I have heard that house cats make great baits, but these are a little hard to get in my neck of the woods (at least without the neighbours getting suspicious:eek: ). Would beef scraps make a good bait? Do you taint them before going out, or do fresh baits work better? Finally, can you trap fox & coyote with the same set? Thanks in advance for your replies!

16 beef will work but if you can get a few road killed woodchucks that would be a better bait. I would use fresh bait in warm weather and tainted in cold weather. Yes fox and coyote are caught in the same set just wish I had more fox around here.
