Some decent gills too, if you can get away from the dinks.

My brother-in-law and I went up there 2 or 3 weeks ago, caught 15-20 pike, none were keepers:sad: , caught some crappies (4-5) keepers, we had a ball. Can't wait to go back with the camera:lol:.

Went out with my father-in-law Saturday 'till about 1pm on the big lake. Moved around, had great weather and better ice (20-24"). Outfished the FIL about 50:1 on perch, unfortunately it was 50 dinks (none that made 8") to his one jumbo (11"), we had 7 flags between us and put up 3 pike with one over at 25.5".
I usually go for the gills but in the afternoon I was determined to finally ice a walleye out of there. However, no matter where I went I caught more of the same 4" perch.
