Talked to a guy the other day and told us that he caught his limit of 4-5 pounders on lake fenton.

P.S. There is an outing planned this weekend for lake fenton for panfish. Maybe we'll see you out there. See Flint outing 2 for info.

According to sportsman's connection the eye's are very hard to locate. There is a large population of alewifes in the lake and they are a open water species of baitfish. The eye's tend to follow these large schools around so finding them in a certain spot can be difficult. The eye's tend to run large because their roaming lifestyle makes them difficult for anglers to target. Try open deeper water.

My bro-in-law used to live on that lake. He caught many nice walleyes off the end of his dock at dusk and after dark casting a torpedo. I always laughed when he told me that was his 'go-to' bait for walleye until we were fishing together up north and he started tossing one at dusk and nailed the biggest fish I had seen all week.
