Best Bet For Sat. P.m.

any thoughts on where my best bet would be to score on some "keeper" perch this weekend? i need fish something awfull! i plan to go out sat. around 12:30 till darkish, and sunday all day. if anyone wants to hook up for a post spuds and suds on a smaller scale let me know. will bring the quad with a different trailer and a smaller grill. see ya out there:fish:

first off ..... stinger you better come clean and spill your guts;) as to the whereabouts of these fish. captain and youngbuck, i'm gonna kinda wait till friday to pick a spot to try. i am hoping one of this sites nice members will come through with a promising report and location. i keep hearing s.a.n.g. very early and right at dark but it only lasts for a few minutes and i have never fished there before. i'm going to check a spot near fairhaven that i did really well at this time last year. this time i think i'll pack the other trailer a little lighter:lol: . i'll let you know anything i hear and we can from there.

I have had luck at SANG the last 2 years...no particular spot I just always followed the pack....I think that is where I am going to start very early Saturday morning...but i will be around all day so we will just have to wait and see i guess

Will do....there has got to be some desent perch somewhere in that darn lake...your right it seems like they bite for 2 hours out of the day...maybe i will just hit the perch in the very early morning...and if i limit out or dont catch squat by about 2:30 or so i might just have to head way back up north for some smelt....you still need to get that quad up here oe of these days....beer and baits on me when you do...hell i will just win the money at the bar the night before

Let me say its very close to where I live.I dont have to use much gas to get there and haul out a bunch of equipment and walk 3 miles on the ice with a bad knee to get them either.I`ll give ya a hint,stay in close and go very shallow. :evil:

iI tried that perch milking thing and it does work! Makes cutting the belly open a whole lot easier, 'specially on fall run hen salmon!
