Lake Ovid: good number of very small fish.
Lake Lansing: occasional flags for pike
Lake Interstate: gave up on it years ago, due to mini-sized bluegills.
Depressed enough, or shall I continue......?

yeah im beginning to think this part of the state sucks as far as ice fishing goes...looks like i may have to drive an hour north somewhere to find some other lakes to venture on....

Lake Alliance in Potterville, has some good sized gills & specs, but I haven't fished it through the ice.
Some of us are supposed to meet at Sessions Lake in Ionia county,Feb. 12th & 19th.Would be glad to have you join us.
I fish the open water below the dam in Grand Ledge, some. You never know for sure what you might get there. It can be done from shore, but I like to wear hip boots.

Bass boss, If I lived in lansing I would rather drive a hour south rather than a hour north when it comes to catching quality panfish. Your not that from from the Jackson area :)

Bassboss, the fish are here, it just takes some time to find them. Maybe you can go with me sometime, shoot me a PM when you are free.
