Irish Hills - Water / Ice ?

Looking to get out this weekend & reading all the different stories - Didn't the rain & warm weather "do a number" on the ice? I know there's plenty of slush which might freeze up the next few nights, but anyone have any info on -good ice- thickness left? Thanks ahead of time!

was out there saturday and there was 12 to 15 inches of ice one the lake I was on, so I doubt weather the rain really wasted the ice, It probably just got rid of the snow on top.

Ice is fine. Out there this past weekend and the lake I was on had 14 to 15" of ice and 3" of snow on that. All that rain did the past couple of days is melt a little of the snow and that's probably refrozen by now. I wouldn't worry about it, I'm going out Friday after work and I'm sure I'll be drving my Jeep right out on the ice.
