I caught a few fish yesterday and threw them in the bucket and then I had to run out to a superbowl party, they are in the buckewt outside in the (un-heated) garage are they still ok to clean tonight, or should i throw them out

If they stayed cool they should be ok....If they got too warm (above 45) for a day I'm not too sure........... Hmmmm......... How hungry are ya? :yikes: :sick:

If they were packed in snow they should be alright. If the bucket has alot of water in it you will know when you fillet the first one :yikes:

clean them ,after you rince them in cold water smell a peice if it smells "fishy" throw it away if not have at it.

Clean them and give them to me for a test. That's the only way I could tell for sure. :lol:

I had a bunch of gills in my bucket from Sunday night(no water), when I dumped them in the sink to clean them (Monday 4pm), half of them were still floppin', I was amazed. I kept them outside, with a lid on the bucket to keep the rain out.
