The reason that I'm asking about these boots is that I've seen that some of youns wear them. I'm thinking of getting a pair (the new ones w/ Thinsulate). Are the liners tight - fitting? I've tried other makers' boots (Rocky & Winchester); found that I couldn't fit in my size (10) even w/ a thin pair of socks. Had to go up @ least 2 sizes - tight fit, again w/ thin socks. Are the LaCrosse like this? No one around here (W.Pa.) carries them. I have to mail order. Should I order 2 sizes up? I want to wear them w/ wool socks.

I wear a size 11 in regular shoes and a 12 in my Ice Kings. You shouldn't have to wear more than 1 pair of socks with them.

Iown 2 pair both have felt liners my feet have never gotten cold. Even after stepping into a fishing hole and filling them with water. Just dumped the water out wrong out my sock and liner and kept on fishing 3 more hours. The wet foot actually stayed warmer.

Just bought a pair last month, I wore size 12 Iceman for 10 years but had to go to size 13 in the IceKing. I wear a pair of poly socks with a pair of wigwam smart wool socks and I spent 10 hours standing or sitting in 5 degree weather 2 weeks ago and feet felt great.
After reading closer I checked my shoes vs boots and wear size 11 shoes so with this being said I would go up 2 sizes the definitely squeeze your foot.
I got mine at Gander Mountain It looks like there are quite a few in PA.

Macdaddy, I woudnt suggest ordering boots through a cataloge. Everyones feet are diferent and you really should try them before you buy them.
p.s. they are a great boot though.

I wear a size 12 and bought a size 14 in the Ice King's. Warmest pair of boots I have ever owned. In this weather we have had the past week I will use my Ice-Man's which are not as warm.
Those Ice-Kings can get a little too warm in some conditions.
Good Luck
