Fished erie today with MANY MANY MANY limits caught! I only hooked up on one fish that eluded me about 9' from the hole but still nice to be out. Rocky can take credit for this pig unofficial (old scale) 8.75lbs

You better buy a new scale? That looks bigger than the 13 pounder I caught 16 years ago. Casting in November from the wall at Beacon Cove Marina when I had a boat there. In a half hour I caught an 8 lber, an 11 lber, and a 13 lber. Nothing before or after the half hour.. 10:30 to 11:00 p.m.

By the way, like a dumb ***** I filleted all three. The big ones tasted lousy. The small one (if you can call 8 lb small) was pretty tasty.

Picture in my wallet to prove it

Yeah thats a huge fish! In my pic mine was 8.1 lbs........Im 250lbs that may be why my fish may look small.

New scale should be on order.

Either it's the way the picture was taken or that photo has been doctored. The fish has a girth that is half of the guys torso, so the fish is a 20lb'er or the guy holding the fish weighs 60lbs. :yikes:

the fish in the pic was 9 lbs on the nose ( scale at state park party store) and 29". we made a move and banged a 10.5 pounder 31" and a few 3-4 pounders. And yes it was the way the pic was taken. He was standing,I was sitting, and pushing the fish out. I'll post some pics of the pair when I get a chance
