You wouldn't beleive what happened to my on the weekend. Was fishing for perch and the perch stopped biting. all of a sudden the float on my vex bobs down, I make nothing of it thinking my line got caught in the float, then again. I look down the hole and a pike is staring a the transducer and trying is trying to knock it out with its snout. I run over and grab a rod with 8 lbs test and a minnow on it and dangle in front of its nose and bam nails my bait and I pull out a 31 inche pike. I know i know my transducer was set to low but it paid off this time. Stupid fish, the noise must have been annoying him.

...... maybe I need to add some trebles to my transducer, and a couple jiggle eyes.
Thanks for the best laugh I've had today.

I wish it were always that easy. I new a vexilar was going to increase my catch rate but I didn't think it was going to be like this.

dude! i hear ya!!! every time i drop my aqua-vu down in a lake that is known for pike, all the panfish end up leaving & pike come in to check it out!! no bull! its happend about 6 times this year.

now we were at crooked lake & the boy & i were checking these 2 pike out . i look away then look back & the friggin pike is tryin to get its mouth around my camera!! fo real! good thing it was a hammerhandle or it may have bit the damn thing off!
& to boot, my camera is not the one with the fish body lens! it would have attacked that one for sure.

We were fishing on Lake Leelanau last night when I had something similar happen. Something started pulling my transducer under the ice, float and all. It was probably a foot under the ice when it happened. It was a mad scramble for a minute there trying to figure out what was going on. Knocked the lantern down and broke the glass and mantle. We joked about a pike grabbing it, but after reading this, maybe it was.

It wouldn't surprise me. That pike kept on coming back attacking the transducer. It was something to see. I am glad it didn't try and pull it under it was just knocking it.

I also had something hit my atlantic cam (never seen it but figured must have been a pike) One minute I was watching my bait on the cam and next thing I knew the cam was going in circles.
