Teen saves brother in ice-fishing drama

The two boys - Ben is 16 and Sam is 14 - were ice fishing with their aunt Stacy on Neenah Lake, a Marquette County mill pond on the edge of Oxford.
It was then, as Ben was following his younger brother to where a tip-up indicated a fish bite, that he fell through the ice, plunging into water that was about 15 feet deep.

Thanks for posting this:
Kudos to the younger brother for the determination to pull his brother out and for his presence of mind to approach the hole in the way that he did, instead of just running over and becoming a second victim.
Good reminder to the rest of us to be aware of ice conditions.
