Hey Folks,

I just got home from bass pro shops with my new strikemaster 2000 auger! Planning on heading up north this weekend and tryin it out.. but anyhow... When i got it today, for $250, the sales guy told me that i should havg on to the reciept because in a couple weeks, they are going to be on sale for 25% off! I'm not sure if that's just for the 2000, all strikemasters, or all augers.. Prolly an effort to get rid of their stock. But this would be a great opportunity for anyone who wants a deal on a very handy piece of fishin gear!

I just got a BPS sale flyer yesterday. It says that the sale dates are 2/10/05-2/20/05. There's a big section at the bottom of page four that says:

All augers 20% off
All ice shelters 25% off
All ice accessories 40% off

Put it on your calendar !

Since I'll have a hard time waiting til lunch time it looks like I'm going to be late for work on Monday morning!!!!!!!! :D

It came in the paper on Saturday morning I think. It was in with all of the other sale flyers and such.

She commonly refers to that as "cost avoidance"! :yikes:

will you be able to take in the receipt then and get 25% back? thanks for the info. I hope to stop in there tomorrow and pick up an auger myself. Jay's up here is sold out. Thanks

you may want to ask but I'm pretty sure that you could. I think that if you buy something at BPS and it goes on sale within 30 days, you can bring back the receipt and get the sale price. I'm not positive about this but it would be worth asking an associate at the store.

Gman, im gonna raise hell if i cant :-) two different sales people told me to bring the reciept back to get the discount....

When i was there last night, there was probably 6 strikemaster 2000's left.. so there should be one left with your name on it!

Also... does "40% off ce accessories" include Vexilars? hmmmmmm!

~MikeI'm quite sure it doesn't Quiz. "Ice Accssories" are things like ice scoops, spuds, creepers, etc. They consider Vexilars electronics and are part of the marine department. I've never seen a Vex on clearance anywhere, even after the season.

the money I had started screaming too loud for me to handle I've held it so long and I picked up an Eskimo Mako 10" auger at Cabelas yesterday. (the display unit) they had a few left but they are on sale and going fast the guy said. looked like mostly eskimo 8" and 9" left in the pile. also a Jiffy 3 h.p. 10" and a Jiffy 9" on display to get rid of. hope to get out sat. morning and try it out.
