Headed out to Pontiac lk this morning with my dad. Fishing SUCKED! I caught a largemouth about 14 inches, and a lil perch...that was it for 3 1/2 hours! Didnt seem like anyone else was catching anything either. I cant seem to catch fish anywhere....this hasnt been a good year at all :bash: :help:

What area of the lake did you fish? how deep was the water and how thick was the ice?

the ice was a good 8 in at least in most areas. We fished in about 12-13 out from the boat launch before u get to that deep area...thats where i caught the bass. Then we fished that deep dropoff(15-30 ft)...nothing there, not even a bite. Then we went closer to that little island towards the south. Fished in 10-12 ft...we got some little bites and a dink perch...but that was it.
