Headed out to Reeds this morning around 930. Walked straight out from the launch and drilled a hole through the pleasantly thick  ice. Dropped the ol' flasher in the hole and the screen lit up with fish. 40 foot of water and the bottom 10 foot was littered with fish. Turns out that most of um were dink gills with the occational decent perch. After an hour or two, Silversides and I packed it up and left with a whopping 8 or so halfway decent perch.
We headed back north to some of our local haunts, only to get more dinks.
Well, Silversides had to get going to work so I decided to try one more private lake before calling it a day. Turned out to be a good decision, or maybe it was just the fact that I got rid of my bad luck charm...
spikes took most of the fish, but a few specks fell victim to a minnow.

I ended up taking home something like 12 specks, 7 gills and 15 perch... Plenty enough for me.

heres a pic of the nice mess of fish
