I know this guy doesnt browes these forums but by chance that he does I just want to thank him for running over my sons tipup tonight!! I could understand if it was an accident but I have to believe this one was intentional. Since the first time he went by around 10 feet away and stopped and dropped his buddy off and watched me and my son walk over and reset the flag. Then about 20 minutes later he drove by again and when I looked over to see how close he was this time I seen my flag pop up from under his track.. I looked at my 8yr old and said that guy just ran over your tipup. I walk over to the flag and instead of just driving by it the sled tracks ran right over top of it and the spinner is busted off.. The tipup is totally trashed. I could understand if I had the thing buried in the snow but the flag was sticking up at least 4 to 6 inches above the snow... Anyway if you guys that fish Gun see a guy on Barids Cove running a green snowmobile wearing the entire green snowmobile outfit run and grab your tipups if he buzz's them the first time because he wont miss on his second try.. This way you can save yourself 20 bucks...

Once again thanks for giving my son a great impression of a snowmobiler...

Wish I could have. I also wish that I would have had my quad with me :bash: I think that I would have tried to catch up with him to have a little chat.. My son was more upset than me he was hoping to get his frist flag last night. But he did out do me in the gills so he wasn't to upset. :)

Next time when you go out ice fishing, make sure to make an 8' x 10' hole. :lol:

No all you need to do is cut a 1 foot by one foot chunk of ice and freeze it to the ice :evil: .. Its to bad there are jerks in every sport and profession.

Quit fishing Gun over 20 years ago for the same reason. 3 of us had 4 smashed in <2 minutes by some idiot, we yelled, he flipped us off and laughed. Haven't been back since. Lots of good, polite water around anyway. Wouldn't do anything to even remotely protect them. Sounds like a jerk that wouldn't bat an eye at sueing your tail off if he was injured or if the snowmobile was damaged.

No sob will run over my tip-up and laugh if he does it will be his last. You guys need to do something. Don't know what but lay something he cant see on the ice that will permantely damage his sled and camo it. Then c who laughs.

If I found out were he lived some bitter ice fisherman just may give him the broken tip-up (sticking out of his nice comfortable seat.) He might think twice befor trying that stunt again.

Thats funny you mentioned the rubber bullets my son said if he would've had his nerf bazooka he got for a xmas present he would have launched it at that guy..... :lol: I wish I could tell what house he dropped his buddy off at because I would have stopped there before going home.. This is the frist tipup I have ever had run over it still dumbfounds me and from what some of you said this happens to other people.. :confused: I have seen tipups run over on accident before but the people will stop and offer to replace it or at least apologize for doing it. I fish in tipup tournements in allegan and at times there are a hundred plus people with 200 plus tipups out and guys running thier quads and snowmobiles around and I only know of one tipup being ran over... Its pretty crazy to think some people are like that...
