Fished from 2:00pm till dark today. We were out 2.9 miles ESE from Linwood, past the crack by quite a few hundred yards. The crack was sealed up tightly today. Caught a 4lb'er at 3:00pm, a 17in'er at 3:30pm, and a ~3lber around quarter to 4. The first two were taken jigging on a copper swedish pimple with a minnow head. The latter, my buddy set a tipup with a shiner and nailed his on that setup. We were fishing 18 fow. Probably should have went in shallower towards dark as only one fish went thru the vex past the 4 o'clock timeframe.

There were plenty of people quite a bit further out than us, as we were in the "mass" of shanties. The fish we saw others in out vicinity were caught early, in the same timeframe as when we caught ours.

All in all, it was sort of tough out there tonight, everything froze stiff as a board. But it was sure good to be out there none the less.

Lots of red on the Vex everyone!
