Crystal Lake Laker Bait

Planning on my first trip to Crystal next weekend. I would sure appreciate any tips on how you fish for lakers up there. Line weight, lures, bait, technique.

I have had my best luck out there with a pearl Swedish Pimple(all sizes have worked), baited with a smelt(I've seen them caught w/blues or greys), jigging 6-10' off bottom in 80-100+FOW. I have 6lb. test spider wire on my jigging rod. You don't want any line stretch fishing that deep.
