What is the name of the trigger device that holds the bow cocked until ready to fire? There is a show on the mens channel that uses it all the time but I have drawn a blank. They also make bows?

Thanks Rob

I'm pretty sure it's called a Bow-Loc. I seen a young kid shoot a 70# bow with one, but I'm pretty sure they are illegal in Mich.

Taxidermist check with Bow Pro in Saginaw. I beleive they make about the same kind of draw system. Theirs also lock in the pulled system if need.

if you have a shoulder or elbow or wrist injury that prevents you from being able to hold a bow at full draw, you may apply for a modified bow permit. this will allow you to use a devicethat will hold your bow at draw for you. i believe(of course i'm no expert) that the same permit allows the use of a crossbow.
you can read this info at the DNR website.
