anyone use a portable ground blind?i can't find one i like. too big or too short. just can't seem to find anything i can shoot a recurve out of . i've been using some camo painted burlap, that i wrap around saplings or trees. i also have a couple tent poles if theres no good natural stuff to hang it on. big problem with it is that burlap gets way heavy when it gets wet.
i've seen some camo cloth thats made out of tyvec looking stuff. is it any good?
i guess i like a blind with out a roof best , my long bow and recurve seem to require it.
maybe after 40 years of hunting i'm getting lazy, making ground blinds has turned into work instead of fun.

I had the same problem I do not shoot a recurve are a long bow but most the blinds out their are not made for bow hunting. The windows sit to low and they are all to short. I decided to go with the ameristep Roundhouse 360 it only weighs 17Ib about as heavy as a tree stand. It is tall enough to stand up in and ameristep customer service is great.

The Invisiblind has a good amount of height and room. It's more expensive than most portables, but it's also made of better materials, it's quieter in the wind, etc.
