I was wondering if anyone has experince with the grim reaper broadhead? I am considering switching to the mechanical head for better arrow flight. I am shooting a carbon express tipped with 100 grain tips at 250fps. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I've had great luck with NAP's 100grn spitfire. They've sliced right through 2 bucks, both taken from the ground. The first one went 15' past the deer, the second one must have hit a rib, because it went about 3-4' and was stuck in the ground. I shoot about 260'/sc

The best thing about the mech's is you don't have to dink around with the pin after practicing with field points.

used the grim reapers for the last two years, and really like them. I used spitfires N.A.P for several years before the reapers. I liked the spitfires but they just are not sharp. It's too hard to replace blades on them also.
The reapers are a lot sharper, and much easier to replace blades.
