I have a ? about settin up a Whisker Biscket .

I had the original , drop tine , whisker biscket . I changed the bisket to a Quik-Shot biscket . It appears to be slightly larger in dia. ,

When you look past the string , centered on the riser and cable guard , Should the center hole , of the Quik-Shot , be right in line .? It appears to me to be slightly left .

How do you line that up .? or does it matter ? Adjust with my sight pins? Please Help

If I'm uderstanding you right, you need to adjust your center shot, as you would anytime you change rest. You can do this several ways. Center shot gauge, laser, french tuning etc.

If you just changed the disk and didn't change the rest ,the centershot should be the same . Even with the larger diameter hole , the arrow will still center in the bottom of the disk .I went from a larger to a smaller disk for carbons ,and didn't notice any changes with windage .
Try it and see how close it shoots . A larger diameter is actually better for arrow flight according to the folks at Carolina archery products ,the makers of the W.B.

Thanks guys for your replies . I changed from a regular disk to a quik-shot disk .I think the QSdisk is a lger overall dia. Moveing the center shot . The hole is still center but where it mounts is for the smaller disk . I actually bought 1 for alum. arrows , for the lger hole . The carbons w/buff tuff are a little thicker . Im. eyeballin it sayin .... hmmm. shouldnt all that stuff be in line ??? Thanks Again

if the hole is larger, then check the nock level also, it is probable a little high. Remember haveing the bow square for starters is just a starting point. Now you have to tune your arrow flight wich could cause you to move things a little. So it might not be perfectly square when your finished.

Papertune with the new disk . That will tell what direction you need to adjust for windage and elevation . You can eyeball your centershot by looking down at your arrow from the top , and lining it up with the length of the stabilizer .It should be close to the center of the stabilizer .

Thanks Guys .
When I put the QSdisk in there , it lowered the rest a little . I have a string level and arrow level , and had to lower the knok a touch . That I got . My ? is left/right . It seems that the openning in the QS is now left of the string . Wont that cause a fish tale in the arrow , if its not all in-line ????
I saw a guy set up a bow once .
Thanks Again .
