Anchor Bay

Hello guys,
I went out to Anchor Bay yesterday. We took 6 guys and three shanties. We did not have much luck at all. Went out about 10 AM left about 4 PM. We saw some dinks come through but nothing of any size. Fishing was very slow. Tried moving around a bit but that didnt help.

Anybody else go out to Anchor Bay?

Also, I am not too familiar with the area, is there any hotels, or motels around that area, or near Chesterfield?

PS. Also I went to two bait shops and they didnt have any perch minnows. I was shocked. Had to use spikes and wax.

Who didn't have bait?? I'm headed out tommorow....somewhere.


There is a couple of motels on m29....I'll get the names tommorow and post them. Got some friends coming in to do some IF the end of Feb and they were asking about them too....



Don't feel bad...the fishing stinks everywhere on this side of the pond....They'll show up yet!!!!!

Thanks. Umm, the bait shop, I am not sure of the name. I parked at Jiggers, and the bait shop was just past jiggers on the right. I have been in there several times and they had all I needed.

I am planning on spending some time out there in late Feb. and I am looking for a motel/hotel to stay at cheap for 1 or 2 nights.

That's Bluewater Bait and Tackle next to the launch....

I just called Brian and they have minnies back in stock....He said they did run out for a couple of hours on sun.
