Has anyone been fishing lately in these spots or anywhere else in the area? I was planning on going out to the bannana dyke tuesday morning and i was wondering what the ice conditions were like and also what the roads are like leading up to the gate. Thanks!

The ice at Erie metro marina is good. All the reports is nothing but small perch being caught. I did meet and fished with I guy yesterday that has been fishing the dyke and reports the ice is good and has been doing well on the north side. He was out the day of the snow storm and said it was hell coming back with all the snow drifts. He will be going out also on tuesday if the trail is cleared up of drifts. Please give us a report if you make it out. Good luck and take your time walking out.

Thanks for the reports guys! Fished the Erie Metro Park marina today from about 10:30 to about 3 and only cought 4 perch. Only one big one worth keeping. There was about 7 inches of ice out by the end of the docks where i was fishing. Most of the other people had about the same luck as i did but one guy fishing closer to shore bewteen the docks had about 7 nice keepers.
