When you guys talk about talking on channel 7 on your radios what's that all about ? Help me out is that your marine radios or what?

The FRS radios....ie motorola talkabouts.

Make sure your security code is set to 0 (zero). Otherwise, we can here you, but you won't here us. Or vice versa......I forget.
I have the Motorola Talkabout Model T6250. 5 mile range.
Never been able to get more than 1 mile range over flat
ice.......Go figure......

I have the Uniden models. It has security channels 1 - 38. So if I leave it off, is it on security channel "0"? Anybody going to be at Crooker this morning or early afternoon to give me a little bit of training on them? I think one of mine might be messed up. :bash: And that's why some of the confusion. Thanks in advance.
