Anchor Bay

Getting mixed reports on Anchor Bay....Can anybody give me a first hand report???

stopped by meldrum rd. this afternoon and punched a hole about 250 yds. out. ice was 7.5"-8.5" thick in 6'0" of water. i could see my spoon when it was on the bottom so the water is pretty clean. spoke to a few guys putting out there perm. shacks and they said they fished up and down that shoreline all morning with nothing to show for it. they said when they were closure to 'buds' they saw more fish that were not hitting and they were small also. best i got man hope this helps.
