Belle Maer Harbor

Any one ever have any luck fishing at Belle Maer Harbor? How about any of the other marinas in the area? I have access to the marina through my mother-in-law who has a boat there, but I never hear about anyone ice fishing there.

If you've been, do you stay in the marina or go out to the lake? What sort of luck did you have?

I fish the canals south of the harbor and occasionally i get some nice fish. try the second canal off the lake. Alot of current in there be careful. Ive never gotten on the ice from Belle Mar, I usually park at a friends house, it usually doesnt look safe enough to walk across from the Harbor.

Water is extremely dirty on the lake and in the canals at BMH. Mac and Rays is the same story. We fished there this morning, came home with empty buckets. We have the ice now, need the water to clear up. Hopefully next week.:( P.S That canal you are talking about is almost never safe enough to cross!
