I have a High country Brute Force XD. And it needs a tune up VERY BADLY! :xzicon_sm :yikes: (fishtailing arrows at 286 fps)
THe bow clearly says on the limbs Warning: DO NOT PUT THIS BOW IN A BOW PRESS, PERSONAL INJURY MAY OCCUR. The limbs are all cranked oput differantly, could I just take this bow anywhere to get it tuned up?

Sounds like you need to adjust your tiller and get the nocking point location set correctly . You shouldnt need a bow press unless you have to change out the string / cables , or adjust your draw length .
You might want to take it to a proshop for them to make the adjustments if you aren't familiar with making them .

I shoot an older HC Split Force that has the same sticker on the limbs. I have taken it to several shops to have it serviced, and have watched them put it in a press every time. As long as the put their limb pegs as far out on the limbs as possible, I wouldn't worry about it. Hey, I guess if they break it, they buy you new limbs, right!
