I saw a add from Heat Factory( makers of those instant warmers)
That they have a boot insert that has a pocket to hold the warmer and it allows the heat to come up al around your foot. No more trying to keep it stuck to your sock and get you foot in the boot.

If you want warm feet try the military MICKEY MOUSE BOOT sold at military surplus stores to look
at you will not be impressed.....wear them and you will never be without them..they have an air valve
on the side ....dead air between layers of rubber
is the secret...no liner to get wet...all you need is one pair of socks...best product for your feet I have ever found..bought the first pair now
6 others in my deer hunting party have purchased
them at 69.00 dollars there a bargain come in white or black....you can even walk great in them
to look at they appear cummbersome...TRY them
I have allred consumer tested them ..Furman

I get cold feet easy! I have a pair of mickey mouse boots that I got while in the military and my feet have only gotten cold in them when they got wet. These are by far the best cold weather boot known to man.

Steve, I bought a pair of those last year. The only real advantage that I can find using them is they are more comfortable then just sticking them in your boots or on your socks. They don't let the heat packs slide around making a big lump on your instep.

Funny thing I go about it a little different...A good set of boots is a must but if the rest of your body is real warm then your feet will not get cold! This is just a fact of life. Blood will stay in your feet and not up in your trunk.

I also agree with keeping your head warm. A few years ago I purchased a pair of "immitation Mickey Mouse boots from a sporting goods catalog. They claimed to be warmer than the originals. If anyone has seen the add, try these boots and your feet will NEVER get cold. I once sat with wet feet in below zero weather and my feet remained warm all morning. <----<<<

Anybody ever try Sorel Glaciers? These things pull the sweat out to the outside of the boot and my feet are always dry. I also bought an extra pair of liners so I can change them every other day and let the other pair completely dry.

My feet also gets cold, but it's due to sweating. I wear lightwear stuff going out, then put on the heavy stuff when I get there. Wool socks are also a great help for me. Cotton socks absorb the sweat and holds it.
