Summer fishing trip ideas

My 2 sons (19 & 14) and I are wanting to take a week's fishing trip this summer (probably June or July). Not really wanting to camp (although not entriely against it), also not needing luxury accomodations, just a decent cabin, can take our own boat(14'-6" with 25 hp motor), fix our own meals, etc. Looking for good walleye fishing. Would you go somewhere in Michigan, Wisconsin, or Minnesota; or Canada. Appreciate all ideas. PM if you wish. Thanks, Jake

I second the Houghton Lake area there can be some non stop action on this lake. From mid May to the end of June is the best before the weeds get to high. There are three walleye tournaments on Houghton during that time period.
