This past Monday my son and I went out trying to do some ice fishing and when we got to the water, I found out that my auger blade was missing  . Couldn't find it anywhere. Even the screws were missing  . Do anyone have any suggestion of where I might be able to find new blades for my auger. I need the screws to hold them too. thanks everyone.

Have you got any idea what brand or model it is ?

If you don't know or can't figure it out, I've got a couple of used augers that I'll part with cheap. I picked them up at a garage sale just because I couldn't pass up a good deal. One is a 4" and the other a 6". I've got a power auger so I really don't need a manual. I know that people have told me to hang on to them just in case but I don't ice fish that much so I'm sure the power auger will do the job. I'll let the pair go for $20. They're the Strikemaster Mora type.

Let me know if you can't find blades for yours and are interested in these.

Good luck.

John

I'd start calling the local bait shops and chain sporting goods stores in the area first before you go to any - this time of year they run out of replacement blades quick and not all stores stock them. Make sure you give them the SIZE, MAKE, and MODEL of your auger.

Auger Blades often come loose. I always use Loc-Tite when installing mine and have never had a problem. I know "Archer's and Angler's" on 23 Mile east of I-94 has a good selection of blades.
