Shametamer,
What about L. Independance? It has good numbers of really stupid walleye, even I can catch them there.

i am always leery of suggesting independence..its so far off beaten path..virtually one good road in n out..if fishin is in down period, its a long ride from cottage to another spot...Besides, How do you keep the northerns off?...love hashin those stump fields for those toothy critters!..the lake does offer a wide range of options for tactics and the campground there is super nice! and the whole atmosphere is real laid back.....You know me, i'm huntin trophies so right now Greenwood tops my choices for inland lunker eyes, but alas, no campground or resorts on the place!........Otter lake could b a thought, lots of eater eyes..big pike, lots of panfish ,bass and at 700 acres small enough to learn quickly and they have a rather cozy resort there. But with two sand bottom rivers flowing in,if you catch rain it destroys fishin for 36 hours or so..I'm surprised Paul..figured you for a Cisco Chain kinda guy(INLAND) the skis there grow large, lots of eyes, pike, bass.large panfish and a good number of whitefish in 1000 island..plus with 7 or 8 lakes connecting just tons of places to go,lots of structure, lots of resorts..has bout everything!

lake independence is good if the walleyes are biting theres good bass fishing at night with topwaters and lots of panfish.
