The Thread about fishing shows on television got me thinking about the “One Episode” on a fishing show that you will always remember. Mine Hands down would be the Babe Winkleman trek out west to Fish for Sturgeon. I believe they were fishing the Salmon river and as they are about to get started the Guide says to Babe, “you are fishing from a float tube right?”
Babe looks at him like he is crazy, the guide says “we do it all the time”.
So the next shot is Babe out in the middle of the river in a float tube. IT was hilarious. He did actually catch a sturgeon this way and he was physically spent after the comical Battle.
After the Battle the guide looks at Babe and says "your making history, this is the first time we have ever tried this" :lol: Although the details have become a little bit grainy, it is something that I tell myself someday, I am going to try that.
What are your best moments/episodes?
