Better stay away from Boutell yet. Linwood ice is in great shape!

We set up at the first pressure crack in about 12 feet of water. Caught one fish just at dark. Had the aqua-view on during light and never seen a fish. right when we switched to the vex we had one come in and caught it right away ( it was aggressive) never seen any others. I talked to a guy at the parking lot who got 3 and had one break him off.

Went off Linwood tonight. Caught 1 just before sundown about 13 inches and threw back. Was also aggressive as it stole bait from other pole as I lost it. Went right to the other and tried to get that one.(busted!) Was not quite to the pressure crack in about 11 fow.

My buddy went out from Palmer Rd. on Sunday past the cracks, jumped a 5ft. section of water going out.....went for a 40yrd. "jet ski" ride on his Chapperel on the way back :yikes:
Said he feels like a cat with only 8 lives left  Didn't catch anything either, but the ice was 6-9 inches.
